Description
This document covers the requirements applicable to the Energy Measurement Function (EMF) of an Energy Measurement System (EMS) to be used on-board traction units for measurement of energy fed directly from/to the Contact Line system. Figure 2 illustrates the functional blocks of the EMF on the basis of the dataflow. Only connections required by this standard are displayed. The Voltage Measurement Function measures the voltage of the Contact Line system and the Current Measurement Function measure the current taken from or returned to the Contact Line system.
